Robertet Mezzanine Case Study
(Mezzanine & Rack Expansion)
Robertet Incorporated is a large New Jersey based flavors and fragrance company head quartered in Oakland, NJ with facilities in Piscataway and Fairfield. Over the past decade Robertet Inc. has developed a committed relationship with Grace Material Handling Co., which has satisfied a great deal of their material handling needs including the following major projects:
- GMH was a key vendor in outfitting the new facility in Piscataway. This included providing and installing storage rack, dock equipment (for seven loading docks), a drum pallet conveyor system, and an overhead monorail crane among other items.
- Robertet Inc. turned to GMH for the major reconfiguration of a new rack system at the fragrance facility in Fairfield. This task also included supplying drum-handling equipment.
- Most recently GMH delivered and installed a second raised stainless steel platform mezzanine, constructed of stainless steel tubing. This platform was designed around high capacity mixing tanks and had to take into consideration very close tolerances.
In addition to these projects, GMH has supplied numerous items such as stainless steel tables, carts and tanks, plastic bins, tanks and storage containers, stretch wrap packaging equipment, stackers, wire shelving, and even a walkway bridge to alleviate congestion in the loading dock area. Robertet Inc. has agreed to be included in a select list of client references GMH can provide to potential customers upon request.
